PHARMA: We're seeking the best life sciences and pharmaceutical industry advertising from 2023. This category, which was launched two years ago, aims to highlight the creativity of the pharma industry from small to large companies and brands.

CREATIVE EFFECTIVENESS: The advertising community is increasingly recognizing the importance of creative effectiveness as brands are demanding to know whether campaigns are producing results. Through the effective use of media, creativity and analytics, agencies and brands are using a more comprehensive approach to determine success on a broad range of metrics. Based on this increased focus, we are introducing this new category for the Jersey Awards.

To submit an entry, choose from a list of potential metrics, found on the entry form for Creative Effectiveness, and show proof that your entry was effective.

HONORING THE BEST OF JERSEY

The Annual Jersey Awards presents First and Second Place trophies and an Award of Excellence Certificate in the sub-categories. In addition, Best of Category Trophies and a one-of-a-kind Best in Show Award will be presented.

Jersey Awards has 10 Major Categories (see Categories Tab) covering Public Relations, Social Media, Digital Media, Television, Video, Radio, Music, Out-of-Home, Newspaper, Magazine, Collateral / All Printed Materials.

Entries will be judged by out-of-state advertising professionals. Winners will be notified by mid-July as to which entry has won an award. Awards will be announced at the 56th Annual Jersey Awards Exhibition and Ceremony on September 18th, 2024 at The Grove, Cedar Grove, New Jersey.

The Outfront Edge Award sponsored by Outfront Media, will be awarded to the company whose overall work has been deemed the most creative and innovative. *New This Year: If you would like to have your submissions judged for the Edge Award, please go to the Registration page and click yes to have them reviewed.

PROCESS

1. Register

Click on the "Register" link and complete and submit the registration form.

2. Login

Login to the awards platform with your email and password.

3. Create

Create your online entry. You will be required to upload submission materials or links to your materials during the creation process. Please look through the categories and sponsorship opportunities prior to getting started on your entries.

4. Save

During the entry period, your entry can be saved as DRAFT until all the required information is completed and attachments uploaded. As each section is complete, you will see a appear in the entry form tab when the application is saved.

5. Submit

On completion, save your entry as FINAL. Please ensure you read through your entry and check that all uploaded materials are correct.

6. Payment

After completing your entry, easily pay through our PayPal integration. If you are submitting more than one entry, you can pay for them all at the same time with a single payment action. Once payment is processed successfully, your entry will qualify for judging.

How do I begin?
Review the information on the seven tabs above (56th Jersey Awards, How to Enter, Categories, Event Sponsorships, Membership, FAQs).
Then click REGISTER (top right) to setup your account and begin the submission process.

Do I have to be a NJ Ad Club member to enter?
No. You do not have to be a member of the NJ Ad Club to enter.

Do I get a discount on entries if I join the NJ Ad Club?
Yes. One of the benefits of membership is discounts on entries and all other activities produced by the NJ Ad Club.

How do I join the NJ Ad Club?
It's simple. Click on the MEMBERSHIP tab and choose the type of membership you desire - Individual Membership at $150 or Corporate Group Membership at $550 for up to four representatives. Then click on PAY NOW to complete payment. You will then be returned to the entry system. Go to the DASHBOARD to enter your work.

You can also become a member on the DASHBOARD - widget on the right once you register and log in.

As a student, can I enter my work into the NJ Ad Club Jersey Awards?
Yes, Full-time students are encouraged to enter the competition via sub-category 105. You should upload a sampling of your best work!

ENTERING


Do I mail in samples of my work to the NJ Ad Club Office?
No. All entries into the 56th NJ Ad Club Jersey Awards must be uploaded digitally. For certain sub-categories, you can provide the URL which must remain live through December 31, 2024.

What is the deadline for entries?
The NJ Ad Club Jersey Awards has different submission periods. To view the different pricing deadlines, please see the Pricing Schedule on the right side of this page.

What are the categories?
The NJ Ad Club Jersey Awards categories vary by Ten Disciplines. View the Categories tab to see the available list.

Do I need to complete all my entries in one session?
No. All work that you "SAVE AS DRAFT" will remain in your folder so you can sign back in and continue the submission process.

Can I edit or add new uploads to my entry after I have submitted my materials as Final and completed checkout?No. Once a submission is finalized, it can no longer be changed. If there are any questions regarding a finalized entry, please contact jerseyawards@njadclub.org.

Can I delete my entries after I have completed checkout?
No, you will not be able to delete your entries once you have completed checkout.

NOTE: All entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

How can I add new work after I completed checkout?
To add new work to your existing submission, log back into your account then go to the DASHBOARD to CREATE a new entry.

What do I do if I cannot find my exact category?
The Category "Collateral/All Printed Materials has a sub-category #89 Miscellaneous. For all other categories, you should select the best option.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS


What media is accepted?
Each category will require specific media. Files will need to be uploaded into the Online Entry Platform. For submission materials hosted online, there will be an opportunity to provide URLs for access.

What information is needed to create an entry?
All NJ Ad Club Jersey Awards entries require the following information on the project, regardless of category. Individual categories may have additional requirements.
General Project Information:

  • Entry Title: Give your entry a name. The judges will see this, and it will be used to reference your entry (required)
  • Agency/Entrant: Who was the Agency/Entrant involved in the project? (required)
  • Advertiser: Who was the advertiser involved in the project (required)
  • Media Links / URLs: For submission materials hosted online, there will be an opportunity to provide URLs for access. (optional)
  • Uploaded Submission Materials: Each category will require specific media. Files will need to be uploaded into the Online Entry Platform.


NOTE: Some categories require additional written information and context.

ENTRY FEES

How much does it cost to enter?
There are two types of fees for each entry that you submit - Single Element Entries or Campaign Entries (3 elements or more). Student Entries (Sub-Category 110) are free-of-charge.
NOTE: All fees listed are in U.S. Dollars (USD).

Is there a registration fee?
There is no registration fee to enter.

How do I pay for my entries?
All entries can be paid for via PayPal or a Major Debit/Credit Card once you have submitted them as Final within the system. *Please Note: Entries and payments received after April 21st and thru April 28th will be subject to a one time late fee charge of $50, added to your total.

ELIGIBILITY

Is my entry eligible to be entered?
Your work must have been published, displayed, or aired between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023 AND meet one of the following criteria:

  • Be produced for a company or client headquartered in New Jersey.
  • Be produced by a New Jersey based agency, production company or media property.
  • Be produced by an NJ Ad Club member residing in New Jersey.
  • Be produced by a Full-Time Student attending an accredited institution in New Jersey as part of a class assignment (limited to Sub-Category 110 - All Student Work).

PAYMENT

All entries can be paid for via PayPal or a Major Debit/Credit Card, once you have submitted them as Final within the system.

Do you accept payment in foreign currency?
No. All payments must be made in U.S. Dollars (USD).

Can I receive a refund for my entry fees?
No. All entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. By submitting entries into the competition, entrants are committing to pay for all entry fees in full.

How do I choose more than one sponsorship?
